On the 23-26 of September 2010 it took place The First Romanian-Bulgarian-Hungarian-Serbian Conference with the title Geographical Research and Cross-Border Cooperation within the Lower Basin of the Danube.
The scientific meeting was organized by the Geography Department of the University of Craiova, the Institute of Geography and the West University of Timişoara.
